June 2024 - The General Director of Lebanese Civil Defense, General Raymond Khattar visited MIF on June 11th, 2024, to lay the first bricks for the new Civil Defense Center in Amchit, dedicated to the Land Rescue Unit. This significant event marks a critical step in enhancing local emergency response capabilities and reflects MIF's commitment to promoting local development. The visit also included a tour of IPT's headquarters, where an ambulance was donated to the Civil Defense team of Amchit. Additionally, the Director General explored IPT's terminals and observed a drill conducted by IPT's firefighting team. He commended the team for their high level of preparedness, cutting-edge strategies, and advanced equipment.
