Recognizing Excellence: MIF's Student Achievement Award for the Public School of Amchit

At the end of the academic year 2023, MIF recognized and rewarded the outstanding achievements of top students at Amchit Public School, underscoring the organization's commitment to nurturing educational excellence in local communities. This initiative directly aligns with MIF's broader local development objectives by instilling a culture of academic achievement and empowering the youth to thrive in their educational journey. The recognition focused on students who excelled academically and demonstrated resilience, discipline, and a passion for learning. The initiative provided a tangible reward for their hard work: a cash prize of $100 for each of the highest-performing students. This financial gesture served as a morale booster and as a support mechanism, helping to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by students and their families.

In partnership with the “Friends of the Public Schools in Byblos,” MIF further extended its commitment to the educational community by offering an additional service to teachers. During the fuel crisis in Lebanon in 2023, MIF collaborated with the organization to provide e-vouchers to teachers, ensuring that their dedication and efforts were recognized despite the ongoing hardships. This initiative reflects MIF's ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable local development by investing in the future of the region’s youth, empowering educators, and contributing to a stronger, more resilient educational system in Lebanon.
