Beyond the Classroom: Unlocking Potentials in the Public School of Byblos

The MIF-funded initiative is a groundbreaking project that brings extracurricular activities to the students of a public school in Byblos, offering them opportunities for personal growth and development that were previously inaccessible to many. This project, the first of its kind in Lebanon’s public school system, ensures that students from all backgrounds can participate in enriching extracurricular activities, free of charge.

Every Saturday, the students of the above-mentioned school will explore and engage in a variety of activities that promote both mental and physical well-being. These activities include dance, robotics, mental arithmetic, football, and basketball (for both boys and girls.). Through this project, MIF aims to empower students by helping them discover hidden talents and build confidence. Being an important outlet for students to escape from the pressures of daily life, this project will run throughout the 2025 academic year, providing enriching activities to the students involved.

In addition to contributing to the physical and emotional well-being of students, MIF aims to create a more inclusive educational environment in Lebanon by breaking down barriers and providing equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic status.
