MIF initiated this endeavor to support “Our Lady of Rosary School” in Amchit, a private institution that provides a high-quality education at no cost to its approximately 400 students. The school is unique in its inclusive approach, welcoming children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, ranging from orphans and those from less fortunate families to students from middle-class households in the region.
MIF’s goal was to answer the schools need to extend its capacity by adding a new classroom to accommodate 9th grade students. As a result, the school will be able to teach students beyond its previous limit of 8th grade. To achieve this, MIF supplied the necessary furnishings and equipment for the new classroom, including students’ desks and chairs, a whiteboard, a projector, fans, and a security camera. In addition, MIF focused on uplifting the school's computer lab, which included the acquisition of 30 new computers and corresponding desks, ensuring that the lab was fully equipped.
Driven by a strong belief that local development begins with nurturing students from an early age, where they thrive in their local schools and develop a sense of belonging, MIF is committed to enhancing educational capabilities within the community. This project is a living proof on how the foundation promotes the development of students' skills and directly improve learning outcomes, thereby making a meaningful contribution to the broader objectives of local development.
